GMU/NOVA RESOURCES

GMU Scholarships

Mason awards millions of dollars in scholarships to incoming freshmen every year. These awards not only recognize strong academic talent and achievement, but also special talents and other personal characteristics, without regard to an applicant’s financial need.

ODIME

ODIME engages the various Mason constituents in awareness and exploration of the diversity of our campus community, identity development, and global and cultural competencies. With student support and advocacy as a primary focal area for our work, we offer services, resources, and experiences that assist students in recognizing, cultivating, and actualizing their potential to thrive and succeed at Mason and beyond. We serve as a resource to members of the Mason community who seek to strengthen their capacities to meaningfully engage and interact with people with different identities than their own and co-create an inclusive and welcoming campus environment.

NATIONWIDE RESOURCES

La Unidad Latina Foundation

La Unidad Latina Foundation is a community of socially conscious college-graduates dedicated to the advancement of the Latino community nationwide. We achieve this by propelling students dedicated to advancing the Latino community from High School to College Graduation and beyond. We believe in ensuring their future success in High School, College, and in their Careers, will ensure the success of all of the United States of America.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund

Founded in 1975, the Hispanic Scholarship Fund empowers Latino families with the knowledge and resources to successfully complete a higher education, while providing scholarships and support services to as many exceptional Hispanic American students as possible. HSF strives to make college education a top priority for every Latino family across the nation, mobilizing our community to proactively advance that goal – each individual, over a lifetime, in every way he/she can. HSF also seeks to give its Scholars all the tools they need to do well in their course work, graduate, enter a profession, excel, help lead our nation going forward, and mentor the generations to come. As the nation’s largest not-for-profit organization supporting Hispanic American higher education, HSF has awarded over $500 million in scholarships and provides a range of impactful programs for students, HSF Scholars, Alumni, and parents.
